Lucky by Alice Sebold My rating: 5 of 5 stars This book to my point of view was truly great. The way that the author gave her point of view on her rape and gave description was on point. Many will try to conceal what has happened but with the author, she truly want to show the world that this is something real and it is truly a terrifying experience. The author was very frank to her family and anyone who asked her about her rape and it brings light to say that she, even though raped will say it how it is. I believe this book was really a way to tell people to wake up and that the evil out there can happen. View all my reviews

A Child Called "It" by Dave Pelzer My rating: 4 of 5 stars Truly a book that has something things you will never forget. As in the story when he went through his process of his abusive mother but then being saved by his school it truly is something that will never be forgotten. The structure of this book isn’t that great since it jumps from here to there but the message was truly brought out. View all my reviews
